A Sleeping Giant...

It was cold, cold as hell.
Wind was blowing hard, and the ocean had a fearsome swell.
Something was wrong, a troubled time ahead?
Was it just a tide, or a disaster on wait?

It was a winter morning, everybody were indoors.
The harbour town was bit too clam, yet to set its course.
A sleeping giant after a long slumber, has somehow come awake,
Its constant roar and chilly breath, made the dwellers shake.

Minutes passed, not much changed,
Except for the ocean, it looked even more enraged.
Suddenly a shudder, soon everything was drenched,
The sea engulfed the land, the monster had the land claimed.

A Tidal wave? This much strong?
Or a rough weather, was the forecast wrong?
Whatever the cause may be, nobody cared.
Danger was on the loom, people were scared.

The news at last came, it was a cyclone.
Powerful enough, to blow a palatial home.
There was water, water everywhere.
The ocean still gave, a threatening stare.

Pandemonium struck, relief was on the way.
The fear indulged, was too hard to sway.
The storm was at last over, the skies got cleared.
But the coastal lands, were forever smeared...

Dreams, That Can Change The World!!!

Have you ever wondered, if the world was in your hands?
If you had a robot, smaller than a grain of sand!
And you could see such things, that others could not gauge.
It would be such a splendid feat, in this global stage.

All of us dream day and night, of glory and success.
No matter how much strange they are, the figments are endless.
Building Castles in the air, may be a futile quest.
But these embankments make us smile, when we aren't at our best.

When we are down, when we are lost, when we are morosed.
Dreams are such a wonder gift, that have been upon us bestowed.
They can lift our spirits high, in a shadowy realm.
They can even give us will to live, avoiding a certain doom.

The world in which we lead our life, may be full of shame.
But one who dreams and acts them through, can lead us through a Path of Fame.
People may throw stones at you, call you a lazy dreamer.
Just show them what your dreams can do, and it will be worth to remember...

Festive Time...

Starting from the dawn,
singing all the day.
It is Christmas time,
and we jingle all the way.

The festive times are here,
there is hapiness in the air!
Time to exchange gifts,
Just forget all the rifts.

Hear the clock tower chimes,
count it, it's twelve times.
Watch the pole star glow,
Santa's about to show.

Anytime, he will be here,
with presents, that we desire.
Release the child in you,
play in the heavenly dew.

Boxing Day is next in line,
Fear not, this name is fine.
No one's going to be hurt,
cause its not about the punch and cut.

A week of joy and grace,
Sweet words and warm embrace.
With a bit of pain in heart,
cause an ending is about to start.

Time to bid goodbye,
Goodbye to the good old year.
May be with a bit of gloom,
and by shedding a drop of tear.

Time is like sand,
it just slips from hand.
Whether it's good or bad,
enjoy it, and don't be sad.

The mystery that unfolds,
the fortune that the future holds.
Lets cherish the past so dear,
And embrace the coming year...

When Memories Haunt...

Walking alone, through the unknown woods,
right past the Redwood and the Ebony hoods.
Far away from the world, the world that I know,
I got mesmerized by the exuberant glow...

The Life in the city, my sweet little home.
Looked so out of place, in this green dome.
All my memories, and thoughts so dear.
Now got blended, to a sweet elixir...

It was so calm, nothing seemed to move.
It was not easy, to fit into the groove.
The rustling of leaves, was all I could hear,
the sound of silence, was too loud to bear...

I looked around, hoping to see someone I know.
But all that I could find, was my own shadow.
I was lost, but it was too late.
I had been crushed, under the gruesome hands of fate...
